Roombox (exterior still unfinished) made from a 16" wooden crate. This is my first Christmas roombox. Pretty primitive, but it was great fun. The fireplace was unfinished, and I stained it Mahogany, as well as the double doors, which open out to a snowy mountain scene. The fireplace flickers, the tree and chandelier are lit, and Teddy is about to have a ball with his wine and eggnog. I made the centerpiece. I also made finished and framed the Black Madonna hanging near the tree. The holiday pitcher on the mantle is a metal mini that I painted with acrylics. The sampler in the corner was done in needlepoint over 20 years ago by my mother's dear friend, Virginia Reedy.
